Our story started in 2005 as Whole Wardrobes
In May 2005, cousins Steve and Peter Harvey worked on an idea of a joinery company specialising in wardrobes and storage solutions. Both Steve and Peter have extensive backgrounds in the joinery and building industry and recognised a need for quality, functional products which are guaranteed 100%.
The research, development and refinement began, and Whole Wardrobes set out a range of products which we were confident to release to the market. Ann Richardson joined the team as Sales and Marketing Manager, bringing her expertise and experience in interior design, as well as sales and marketing.
2012 – a new manufacturing facility and a rename to “Re Space”
In 2012 Whole Wardrobes changed their name to Re Space to reflect the wide range of storage solutions offered including sliding doors, laundry and home office installations.
Re Space’s dedication to delivering exceptional service and quality custom joinery has been well received by homeowners and the building trade throughout Nelson, Blenheim and Marlborough. The majority of housing companies and builders in our area are using our wardrobes and storage joinery. The demand from these companies, as well as a growing number of orders from private homeowners, has seen Re Space expand into a custom-built manufacturing facility.
Re Space is also delighted to be supplying custom storage joinery in regions outside Nelson such as Blenheim, the West Coast, and Christchurch. In Christchurch we supply joinery to commercial customers.
Re Space’s market share around Nelson and Blenheim continues to grow, along with the desire to continually improve and develop its storage products.
